Photography has always been a way for me to explore identity, emotion, and culture through visual storytelling. My work centers around photography and music visuals, exploring how imagery can bring an artist’s sound and identity to life. I’m especially interested in the early stages of the creative process, where ideas, lyrics, and emotions begin to shape the visual direction. For me, photography goes beyond documenting a moment. It’s about creating imagery that communicates feeling, story, and perspective.
My creative journey began long before I picked up a camera. Growing up in an artistic household, I was constantly surrounded by creativity. My mother worked as a professional freelance photographer, known as “Foto Girl,” and her work introduced me to the power of photography at an early age. Before photography, I explored many forms of artistic expression including dance, drawing, and painting. Creativity was always the space where I felt most connected to myself. Toward the end of high school, photography became the medium that allowed me to combine storytelling, emotion, and visual experimentation in one place, and I have been passionate about it ever since.
I later graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Entertainment, concentrating in Photography with a minor in Video and Film Production. I am currently continuing my education at Belmont University, where I am pursuing a master’s degree focused on the media and entertainment industry. My work often leans toward editorial, fashion, and portrait photography, where I can develop concepts that explore mood, style, and narrative. Through freelancing and building my editorial portfolio, I have continued refining my creative voice while exploring how visual imagery shapes the way audiences connect with music and culture.
As I continue to grow as a photographer and creative, my goal is to collaborate with musicians, artists, and creative teams to develop visuals that bring an artist’s sound and story to life. From the first idea to the final image, I approach my work with the belief that imagery has the power to make people feel something.
If you’re interested in collaborating, developing a visual concept, or working together on a creative project, I’d love to connect.
